*This position may work virtually or remotely from any city accessible to travel.
As a Senior, Digital Graphic Arts Designer you will work independently and within collaborative groups to create engaging, multimedia content for a variety of marketing and communications internal and external channels. This person must be comfortable working in various disciplines and toggle back and forth seamlessly. Key areas of responsibility include design development and design extension projects across all business channels.
The Senior, Digital Graphic Arts Designer will manage projects from ideation and design to production with adherence to Wolters Kluwer brand standards and the ability to drive a consistent visual identity. Successful candidate must have strong multimedia design skills, be highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented with a global mindset and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
**Essential Duties and responsibilities**
+ Prior experience in designing within the digital space
+ Ability to design highly engaging or interactive assets, including videos, Infographics, whitepapers, and Social Media
+ Ability and experience in design and execution of executive level presentations
+ Understand and excel in digital design to support promotional initiatives
+ Comfortable with global time zones, tight deadlines, and efficiently shifting from one project to another
+ Work with executives, marketing, and communications teams to translate marketing objectives into interactive creative strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement
+ Comfort in a collaborative matrix with responsibility for delivering in a fast-paced environment
+ Create and execute innovative, impactful and unique design solutions using brand assets and identity guidelines

+ Education:
+ BFA/BA in graphic design or related field
+ Experience:
+ 3+ years in a studio or in-house environment
+ A portfolio displaying proven conceptual and visual design
+ Excellent design/layout and production skills and efficiency in standard graphics software including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
+ Background in Apple Motion/Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Maxon Cinema 4D (3d modeling/rendering) or equivalent
+ Familiarity with Frame.io & BrightCove platforms
+ Digital web design an advantage
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
+ Strong conceptual design acumen and solid typography skills
+ Ability to design towards specific audience segments and global cultures
+ Ensure brand consistency in all creative efforts
+ Ability to manage multiple, priority assignments simultaneously and consistently maintain on-time deliverables
+ Experience creating seamless design extensions and produce final artwork
+ Knowledge and understanding of brand identity application in graphics
+ Ability to maintain vendor and in-house \"client\" relations, with proper documentation of projects and efficient archives of art files
+ Manages and archives artwork files to ensure proper storage and back-up
+ Exceptional attention to detail and visual problem-solving skills
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Utilize best practices around visual design and strategy
+ Highly self-motivated, with excellent communication skills, conflict/resolution, and negotiation skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills, highly motivated, organized and detail-oriented
+ Be flexible and open to feedback
+ Ability to self-manage, take initiative, yet feel comfortable asking for direction
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Outlook email management. PowerPoint
